COMPO SHANK is an ABS shank, present in all models except those with steel midsole. It 's a reinforcing system positioned between the heel and the sole of the foot arch, applied between the midsole and the SOLE. This shank prevents twisting and bending of the sole in the central section, critical to the stability of the foot especially on work ladders where foot support is not complete and may compromise physical balance.
